In the sun-kissed paradise of Fuengirola, Spain, a tranquil community of Finnish expats is shattered by two brutal murders. Veteran detective Hilkka Mäntymäki is dispatched from Finland to aid the local police in solving the case, which soon claims new victims. As she delves deeper into the investigation, Hilkka must confront her own dark past and the secrets that haunt her.
