After serving three years in prison, Ashley Douglas returns to his old neighborhood with high hopes of reuniting with his girlfriend Linda and rebuilding his life. However, things don't go as planned as he finds that Linda has moved on and his friends and family have abandoned him. Desperate for companionship, Ashley befriends Jeremy, a quirky young outcast who shares his dream of starting a business. Together, they embark on a series of misadventures that test their friendship and challenge their perspectives on life. Despite their efforts to turn their lives around, they find themselves falling back into old patterns, and Ashley must confront the harsh reality of starting over.
