What is Cop Land about? 
In the small town of Garrison, New Jersey, a group of corrupt NYPD officers, led by Lt. Ray Donlan, have found a way to exploit a loophole in department regulations and live outside the city limits, effectively untouchable by the NYPD's Internal Affairs division. Sheriff Freddy Heflin, a man who idolizes Donlan and has always dreamed of joining the NYPD, turns a blind eye to their illegal activities.
