Breakdown is a thriller movie that follows the story of Jeff and Amy Taylor, a couple who are on their way to start a new life in San Diego. While driving through the desert, their car suddenly breaks down, and Amy accepts a ride from a passing trucker to get help. However, when she doesn't return, Jeff fixes his car and sets out to find her, only to discover that she has disappeared without a trace. He soon learns that his wife was not the only one who has disappeared in this small town, and he must now fight for his life and his wife's freedom against a group of ruthless criminals who have been preying on unsuspecting tourists. The movie keeps the audience on the edge of their seats as Jeff faces dangerous obstacles and unexpected twists in his desperate search for Amy. Will he be able to rescue her before it's too late?
