Baby Boom

A driven Manhattan management consultant, J.C. Wiatt, is forced to re-evaluate her priorities when she inherits a toddler from a distant cousin. Initially resistant to the idea of motherhood, J.C. grows attached to the child and decides to raise her herself. Struggling to balance her work and home life, J.C. is faced with a difficult decision when her boss offers her a chance to become a partner at the firm, but only if she gives up her new role as a mother. Choosing to put her family first, J.C. quits her job and moves to a farmhouse in Vermont. There, she starts a successful business selling "gourmet" baby food applesauce and strikes up a romance with a local veterinarian. When her former boss reaches out with a multi-million-dollar offer to buy her company, J.C. must decide whether to return to her powerful and prestigious former life in corporate New York or continue her new life as an active mother, girlfriend, and CEO of her own burgeoning business in Vermont.
