In a world where robots can disguise themselves as common objects, a group of heroic robots known as Autobots must protect humanity from hundreds of dangerous robots known as Decepticons that have escaped from a crashed prison ship. Bumblebee, the leader of the Autobots, forms a new team of young Autobots to help him battle the Decepticons. The team includes Sideswipe, a rebel "bad boy bot," Strongarm, an Elite Guard cadet, Grimlock, a bombastic Dinobot, and Fixit, a hyperactive Mini-Con with faulty wiring. Together they must stop the Decepticons from wreaking havoc on Earth.
