What is The Shining about? 
"The Shining" is a chilling miniseries that follows the Torrance family as they become trapped in a sinister hotel during the off-season. Jack, a recovering alcoholic and aspiring writer, takes a job as the hotel's caretaker, hoping to find inspiration and redemption.
