Allison DuBois, a suburban mom with a special gift, struggles to balance her family life with her ability to communicate with the dead. While she sleeps, the dead send her visions of their deaths or other crimes, which she uses to help solve mysteries and uncover the truth. Despite her husband's support, Allison faces skepticism from authorities and must convince them that her abilities are real and can be used to bring justice to those who have been wronged.
