Christmas on Vesterbro is a Danish comedy series that follows the story of Stewart Stardust, an alcoholic sailor living in Vesterbro with his aggressive wife Vivian and their drug-addict son Danny. When Danny is released from prison on parole, a social worker named Arne Nougatgren starts checking up on the family to ensure they have a well-functioning home. However, things take a turn when Stewart's hot dog stand's engine is stolen, leaving the family in financial trouble. A Muslim named Kefir offers to repair the hot dog stand for free, but things get complicated when it's revealed that he may be part of a terrorist organization planning an attack on Christiansborg. As tensions rise and Christmas approaches, can Stewart and his family find a way to celebrate the holiday in peace?
