Carly, a 13-year-old girl, creates an internet show called "iCarly" with her best friend Sam and neighbor Freddie. They post their comedy sketches and talent contests online, and their show quickly becomes a hit. As they gain international recognition, they must navigate the challenges of fame while still trying to live normal teenage lives. With the help of Carly's brother Spencer, who acts as their guardian, they produce their show from a makeshift studio in their Seattle apartment. As they face the ups and downs of internet stardom, Carly and her friends learn to work together and support each other through thick and thin.
