Charlie Goodson, a former baseball player with anger issues, becomes a therapist to help others manage their anger. He runs a successful private practice and performs pro bono counseling at a state prison. Charlie's personal life is complicated, juggling his ex-wife, teenage daughter with OCD, and his attractive therapist who he also has a sexual relationship with. Despite his success, Charlie's past and his own struggles with anger come back to haunt him.
