In this actions-packed fantasy movie, a skilled Asian warrior named Yang is forced to flee his home after refusing to kill a baby girl, the last member of an enemy clan he was supposed to eliminate. He escapes to the American Badlands where he meets Lynne, a spunky young woman who teaches him how to do laundry and introduces him to the town's eccentric residents. However, Yang's peaceful life is short-lived as his former master and clan members arrive in search of revenge.
