What is The Monkey King 2 about? 
In this movie, Tang Sanzang, a young Buddhist monk, sets out on a journey to retrieve sacred scriptures from India. However, he's not alone - he's accompanied by Sun Wukong, also known as the Monkey King and other supernatural beings. Together, they encounter Lady White, who is terrorizing Yun Hai Xi Kingdom, eating people and avoiding the Reincarnation cycle. The group works together to defeat Lady White but their trust is tested when Wukong kills innocent people, mistaking them for demons. Sanzang punishes Wukong for his actions while also realizing they're similar in only trusting what they see. They reach the kingdom's capital, where the King kidnaps Sanzang in a failed attempt to cure his cursed disease. Wukong saves Sanzang but kills an innocent girl, leading Sanzang to banish him. The White Bone Demon kidnaps Sanzang, revealing her tragic past, but ultimately refuses redemption and is defeated by Wukong and the others. In the end, Wukong and Sanzang sacrifice themselves to save each other and the demoness' soul
