The Death of Mr. Lazarescu

The Death of Mr. Lazarescu is a Romanian drama film that tells the story of a lonely, ailing old man named Dante Remus Lazarescu who is shuttled between hospitals during a pandemic while doctors try to pinpoint his diagnosis. Despite his worsening condition, hospitals are reluctant to admit him due to their exhaustion from dealing with the pandemic and their prejudices towards his alcoholism.
