"Battleship Island" tells the powerful and inspiring true story of a group of over 400 Koreans who were forcibly taken from their homes and made to work in brutal conditions on Hashima Island during World War 2. But as they struggle to survive the harsh labor and inhumane treatment, they form a plan to risk everything and attempt a daring escape from the island, in the hope of returning home and finding freedom.
