Silent Night

In the midst of World War II, a German mother and her young son seek refuge in a remote cabin. When three American soldiers and later three German soldiers arrive, tensions run high. But as Christmas Eve unfolds, the mother's determination and warmth bring the enemies together for a night of shared humanity, homemade cookies, and unexpected friendship. As they put aside their differences, the soldiers find a brief respite from the war, and a hope for a future where enemies can lay down their weapons and come together in peace.
