What is Sick of Myself about? 
Signe and Thomas are a competitive couple living in Oslo. Thomas' success as an artist leads to Signe feeling jealous and ignored. In an attempt to regain attention, she fakes a severe allergic reaction at his art exhibition opening. However, her plan backfires, and she becomes addicted to Lidexol, a recalled anti-anxiety medication that causes skin disease. Signe's addiction worsens as she continues to take the medication, leading to hospitalization and deterioration of her physical condition. Despite this, she lands a modeling contract and appears in a commercial for Regardless where her health suddenly deteriorates further due to her continued drug use. Eventually revealing her lies to Marte -her journalist friend-, Signe seeks solace from the support group once again while Thomas is sentenced for his crimes.
