In essence, Steve McQueen’s Shame is a message movie, and that message is “Scoff all you like, but sex addiction is as legitimately terrifying and life-destroying as other forms of addiction.

Bättre rollprestation än Fassbenders hade man inte ens kunnat drömma om och Mulligan matchar honom helt och visar på en helt ny råare sida än vad vi sett henne i förrut.
