In the tumultuous late 19th century Japan, a young orphan named Tetsunosuke witnesses the murder of his parents by one of the Choushuu, a rival clan. Driven by a desire for revenge,Tetsunosuke joins the Shinsengumi, a powerful and feared group of samurai warriors loyal to the shogun. However, he quickly realizes that the reality of being a Shinsengumi member is far more brutal and emotionally challenging than he had imagined. As he struggles to find his place among his comrades and the ever-changing political landscape of Japan, Tetsunosuke must confront the harsh truths of war and the true meaning of loyalty. Will he be able to find the strength to overcome the trials ahead, or will he succumb to the darkness of his own desires?
