In a small town, a group of factory workers face the threat of unemployment when their plant is sold to a French company that plans to convert it into a snail cannery, leaving only 300 of the 3000 workers with jobs. In a bold and unconventional move, the workers' union leader comes up with a plan to save their jobs, but it's a risky and unorthodox solution that may not sit well with his colleagues. Will they take the risk and try to save their jobs, or will they let their fear hold them back?
