Fun film, highly entertaining! Quite the adventure. It's a bit cheesy at times and somewhat formulaic, but it's all good fun and well made overall. Acting is spot on and the chemistry is definitely there.

...it's a relief to see a Western get back to the fun and spectacle of the genre, and Donner relishes the screen-filling landscapes.
