Light of My Life

In a post-apocalyptic world where a deadly pandemic has wiped out most of the female population, a father and his young daughter, Rag, must navigate through the dangers of a world that is no longer safe for women. The father, who has promised to protect Rag at all costs, disguises her as a boy to avoid detection by male bandits who are searching for any remaining females. As they journey through British Columbia, they encounter various obstacles and challenges, including a group of friendly religious extremists who offer them shelter. However, their safety is short-lived as they are eventually attacked by a group of men who threaten to harm Rag. The father must fight to protect his daughter and prove that he will do anything to keep her safe. With themes of survival, humanity, and the unbreakable bond between parent and child, Light of My Life is a powerful and emotional drama that explores the depths of human resilience in the face of adversity.
