In the sweltering heat of the Mediterranean summer, a gang of criminals, led by the ruthless Rhino, hijacks a truck filled with 250 kilograms of gold. They seek refuge in a remote, abandoned village, where they unexpectedly cross paths with a bohemian writer, Bernier, and his muse, Luce. As tensions rise and loyalties are tested, the village becomes a battleground, descending into chaos and violence. As night falls and the standoff intensifies, it becomes clear that not everyone will make it out alive. Will Rhino and his crew escape with the gold, or will they meet their match in the intrepid Luce?
