In the peaceful Swedish village of Högboträsk, crime is a thing of the past. The local police force spends their days drinking coffee, eating hot dogs, and chasing after cows. But when the police management board threatens to shut down the station due to lack of crime, the policemen must take matters into their own hands to justify their existence. They start staging crimes, including arson, robbery, and kidnapping, using their friends as actors. As the situation escalates, the police must navigate their way through a web of lies and deceit to keep their jobs and maintain order in the village.
