In the midst of World War II, four young boys found themselves imprisoned in the notorious Buchenwald concentration camp. Against all odds, they survived and were eventually liberated. Sixty-five years later, they return to Buchenwald to commemorate their liberation anniversary and remember the remarkable story of resilience and courage that defined their childhood. This documentary tells the untold story of the Communist-led underground's efforts to protect and save Jewish children who were arriving in Buchenwald during the final days of the Holocaust, and the selfless heroism of Antonin Kalina, who risked everything to save 904 boys.
