In the movie "Hindi Medium," a wealthy couple from Delhi's Chandni Chowk, Raj and Meeta Batra, are determined to give their 5-year-old daughter, Pia, the best education possible. They set their sights on Delhi Grammar School, the city's top English-medium school, believing it will help Pia join the elite of society. However, their limited knowledge of English poses a challenge. In their quest to secure admission for Pia, they try to become more refined and even pretend to be poor for a month, living in a slum area and befriending a local family.
