Frequently Asked Questions

What is Leaving Las Vegas about? Toggle content

Leaving Las Vegas is a poignant and unflinching portrait of two lost souls who find each other in the city of excess. Ben, a down-on-his-luck screenwriter, has come to Vegas to drink himself into oblivion. Sera, a prostitute with a heart of gold, takes him in and the two form an unlikely bond. Despite their best efforts, their relationship is fraught with challenges as they struggle to come to terms with their troubled pasts. A raw and powerful performance from Nicholas Cage earned him an Academy Award for Best Actor.
