Easy A is a 2010 American teen comedy-drama film directed by Will Gluck and written by Bert V. Royal. The movie follows the story of Olive Penderghast, a 17-year-old high school student living in Ojai, California, who narrates her life into her webcam. Olive's life takes an unexpected turn when she tells a lie to her best friend Rhiannon about going on a date and losing her virginity to a college boy. The rumor quickly spreads throughout the school, and Olive becomes the center of attention, with both admiration and criticism from her classmates.
