Cherrybomb follows three teenagers who embark on a wild weekend filled with booze, drugs, shoplifting, car theft, vandalism, and sex to impress a charismatic girl. As the weekend progresses things take a turn for the worse when their antics find them in over their heads when they throw a party in sports training complex that belongs to Michell's father, Dave. Things spiral out of control when Dave finds his complex trashed and tries to nearly beats Malachy to death, before Luke smacks Dave over the head with a pole not once but twice. The three teens are arrested and as they are being questioned by the police is when the audience finds out that the opening sequence was the ending of the film.
