In the year 2688, humanity lives in a utopian society, thanks to the music and philosophy of Bill S. Preston, Esq. and Theodore "Ted" Logan. Rufus, a time-traveler from the future, goes back to San Dimas High School in 1989 to help Bill and Ted pass their history class and prevent Ted's dad from sending him to military school. With Rufus' help, they travel through time to meet famous historical figures such as Napoleon Bonaparte, Billy the Kid, Socrates, Sigmund Freud, Genghis Khan, Joan of Arc, Abraham Lincoln, Ludwig van Beethoven... who will help them complete their final history presentation!
