A Crooked Somebody

In the thriller "A Crooked Somebody," a attention-seeking psychic, Michael Vaughn (Rich Sommer), is kidnapped by Nathan (Clifton Collins Jr.), a man who believes Michael can communicate with the spirit of his murdered victim. Michael sees the situation as an opportunity to boost his popularity and contacts the local news station to reveal the location of the victim's remains. However, things take a dark turn when Nathan kidnaps Michael's girlfriend, Chelsea (Joanne Froggatt), and demands that Michael correct the situation or face the consequences. In a desperate attempt to escape, Michael kills Nathan and disposes of his body, but ultimately gets arrested and serves time in prison. Meanwhile, Chelsea capitalizes on their experience by writing a bestseller about Michael's confidence tricks.
