What is Fill the Void about? 
In the heart of Tel Aviv's ultra-Orthodox community, 18-year-old Shira Mendelman's life is turned upside down when her older sister Esther dies in childbirth. Shira's family is devastated, and her father delays her engagement to a young man she likes. Yochay, Esther's husband, begins to visit the Mendelman's house with their son Mordechai, and Shira's mother suggests that Yochay marry Shira instead of a widow from Belgium. Shira is hesitant but eventually agrees, feeling it's the best option for everyone. However, as the wedding approaches, Shira realizes that she has feelings for Yochay and wants to be with him and Mordechai.
