What is The Blob about? 
In the small town of Arborville, California, a meteorite crash lands, unleashing a mysterious, slimy substance that begins to devour everything in its path. Three high school students, Brian, Meg, and Paul, are the first to discover the creature's destructive power and must fight for survival as it grows in size and strength. The Blob quickly takes over the town, dissolving everyone it touches, including Paul and several others. Brian and Meg team up to try and stop the creature before it kills everyone in its path. They soon discover that the Blob is not only a freakish alien life form but also a biological warfare experiment created during the Cold War.
