Yes, it's another time-loop movie, but this cheerfully relentless action flick comes out fighting and keeps up the pace, with pauses for a few clever ideas and some genuinely touching moments.

Boss Level, directed by Joe Carnahan, follows Roy Pulver, a retired Delta Force soldier who finds himself trapped in a never-ending time loop. Every day, Roy wakes up to an assassin attempting to kill him and must navigate through various attacks and obstacles to survive. Despite his best efforts, Roy is unable to prevent his own death and is constantly sent back in time to relive the same day over and over again. As the story progresses, Roy discovers that his estranged wife Jemma works at Dynow Labs on a top-secret project known as the Osiris Spindle. Believing that Jemma's life is in danger, Roy sets out to protect her but quickly realizes that the project is actually a quantum device capable of rewriting history. The leader of the assassins, Colonel Clive Ventor plans to use this technology for his own gain and will stop at nothing to acquire it - even if it means killing everyone involved by using each time loop as an opportunity for another attempt on their lives! Determined not only save himself but also protect both Joe (his son) & Jemma from certain doom while stopping Ventor's diabolical plans once & for all ,Roy uses each loop as an opportunity learn more about how he can take down Ventor's operation - all leading up until its explosive climax where our hero finally finds away break free from these cycles after learning some dark truths along way!
