Dr. Daniel Pierce, a brilliant and unconventional neuroscientist, is recruited by the FBI to help solve complex crimes. Despite his paranoid schizophrenia, Daniel's unique perspective and masterful understanding of human behavior make him an invaluable asset to the team. With the help of his assistant Lewicki and his subconscious, which communicates with him through hallucinations, Daniel uses his extraordinary abilities to unravel mysteries that others cannot. His eccentricities may be a source of frustration for some, but Kate Moretti, a former student and FBI agent, sees beyond them and recognizes the genius that lies within. Together, they form an unlikely partnership that helps them solve cases in ways they never thought possible.
