Thithi

In a remote village in South India, three generations of men come together to mourn the loss of Century Gowda, their 101-year-old patriarch. Gaddappa, Century Gowda's eldest son, is a free-spirited old man who spends his days wandering the fields and enjoying cheap cigarettes and brandy. His son, Thammanna, is consumed by greed as he plots to sell Century Gowda's five-acre property, despite the land belonging to his father. Meanwhile, Thammanna's teenage son, Abhi, neglects his responsibilities to chase after a shepherd girl named Kavery. The three storylines intertwine and converge at Century Gowda's "thithi," the final funeral celebration 11 days after his death.
