The Belko Experiment follows a group of 80 American employees working at Belko Industries in Bogota, Colombia, who are suddenly locked inside their office building and ordered by an unknown voice over the intercom to participate in a twisted game. The voice commands them to kill two of their coworkers within a certain time frame or face consequences. Initially, the employees dismiss the announcement as a sick prank, but when the time expires and the two have not been killed, four employees die when explosives hidden in their trackers detonate, blowing their heads apart. The voice then threatens to detonate more trackers unless the group complies with its demands. The employees split into two factions: one led by Mike Pelk, who believes there should be no killing, and another led by Barry Norris, who intends to follow the directions to save himself. The group is told that unless thirty of them are dead within two hours, sixty will be killed. The employees are forced to kneel in a line while Barry and his group start firing, killing several more people. However, Dany Wilkins shuts off sandwiches down the building's lights, allowing some employees to escape. During the chaos that follows, Dany goes into one of the elevator shafts with Roberto. Barry and Wendell hunt down fleeing employees, and the voice informs them that only twenty-nine have been killed. When the two-hour time limit runs out just as some of the employees are trying to escape using the elevator shaft as a hideout spot, the voice announces that 31 more people will die leaving only 16 survivors who must then be killed by each other. They are then informed bythe voice that, as a final task, if the employee who has killed the most people within an hour will be spared. As the game progresses, Leandra finds two employees collecting unexploded trackers from the heads of people who have died by other methods. They tell her they plan to use them to blow up walls. However, they are quickly killed by Wendell; Leandra later kills him. The final six survivors include Vince Mike, Barry, Dany Leandra cafeteria lady Liezle who is shortly afterward killed by Barry. Barry shoots Vince & Dany, also killing Leandra before being brutally murdered with a tape dispenser wielded by an enraged Mike in retaliation.. The building is then unsealed, he is the last survivor, followed by meeting the owner of 'the voice,' who says they are part of an international organization studying human behavior; Mike notices correspond to the eighty employees planted the tackers that Marty collected on the soldiers and the Voice; he flips every remaining active switch except his own - tracker explosions ensue, taking out the Voice's panel and soldiers, ultimately killing everyone inside except Mike.
