In this romantic comedy, a struggling Copenhagen wine seller, Christian, travels to Buenos Aires to win back his estranged wife Anna, who has left him for a top Argentine football player. Under the pretense of signing divorce papers, Christian arrives in Argentina and gets caught up in a series of unexpected events and cultural experiences, including a budding romance with a passionate housekeeper and a chance encounter with a fellow winegrower. Meanwhile, his 16-year-old son Oscar starts a relationship with a travel guide, Veronica. As Christian navigates his time in Argentina, he ultimately learns to let go of Anna and embrace the culture and people of his wife's new home.
