High Lane is a French horror movie that tells the story of a group of friends who embark on a mountain climbing adventure, only to find themselves trapped and hunted by a vengeful poacher. The group, consisting of Chloé, Guillaume, Fred, Karine, and Loïc, ignore warnings that the mountains are closed and start their ascent anyway. As they climb higher, they realize that they're not alone and that someone is determined to keep them from making it to solid ground. The group faces various obstacles, including collapsing bridges, bear traps, and a vertigo-stricken Loïc, who fails to belay the rope, causing Guillaume to fall. Despite the challenges, they continue their journey, but things take a dark turn when they discover a poacher's trap full of spikes, and Chloé falls into a pit trap. As they try to rescue Chloé, they realize that they're being watched, and Karine is suddenly hit by an arrow through the chest. As the group searches for Fred and Karine, they find a cabin in the forest where they discover a naked and bloodied Fred lying on a slab. Guillaume finds a door to the basement and goes down to find Fred's bag, where he also finds animal pelts, shackles, hunting equipment ,and hanging decapitated heads. He realizes that the poacher must live alone in the cage, but when he tries to tell Loïc, he refuses to listen. Loïc locks Guillaume in the basement and tries to tell Chloé to leave with him, but she refuses .Anton returns with Karine's corpse ,and Chloé is briefly knocked unconscious as Loïc ineffectually grapples with Anton. Chloé regains consciousness and helps Loïc fight Anton ,but when she manages to get an advantage over Anton and looks to her boyfriend to help, cowardly Loïc flees with a flare leaving her to die . Chloe and Guillaume, shackled to wall in basement hear Anton eviscerate corpses of Fred ad Karine Though Chloe is close to escaping form the shackles ,Anton returns and takes her upstairs kill her .Meanwhile Loïcs flare dies and he reluctantly returns o the cabin .Guillaume ,fighting save Chloe, escapes his bonds and yells through the basement trapdoor for Chlœ to call poacher Anton. The poacher pauses and Loï appears to attack Anton. An enraged Anton chases fleeing LooiC, giving Chlœ enough time free Guillaume .Guillaume want to escape nearby cable ,but Chlœ insists on saving LoïC. Anton chases looiC with crossbow shoots him leg , but LooiC fights back ,stabbing him hitting him with rock several times though he flees cable before killing him correctly.
