Shot under impossibly gruelling conditions, it is a damp, claustrophobic movie, full of frail people straining with thick iron bulkheads or being crushed by tons of rushing water as their tin cans rupture.

Really engaging and interesting movie. I watched a 3 hour version and this time flew by. The message the movie is trying to send is ironically a bit shallow, but it's a great movie regardless.

Har netop set den nye 4k hdr specialudgave på 2.51 timer. En virkelig vellykket restaurering, og en fantastisk film med et desværre alt for aktuelt budskab. En must see film.
