Adam's Apples

Adam's Apples (2005) is a Danish drama-comedy film that tells the story of a neo-Nazi gang leader, Adam, who is granted parole from prison and sent to a rehabilitation program at a church. The program is headed by the priest Ivan, who believes firmly in the goodness of man and chooses to ignore the ongoing misconduct of his charges. Adam sets out to break the priest's spirit, but ultimately discovers the positive impact Ivan has had on himself and others. When Ivan is accidentally shot by one of Adam's gang members, Adam stays up all night baking a tiny apple pie for him as an act of guilt and redemption. The film explores themes of faith, forgiveness, and personal growth amidst adversity.
