2 Truly awfull, bordering on vile. If Eddie wasn’t in this I’d consider reporting it as being a crime against humanity. No one appears to enjoy being in this, apart from who ever gets off being the loudest and crudest. To the writers: No one who sits down to get into the Christmas spirit gives a flying toss about your oppinions and your agenda. Yes, we are watching an african american family at Christmas. It is not our first rodeo. Yet you decide to ram down our throats what you want in your society. Being a good host is about giving your guests what they want and expect when they spend their precious days off with you! If you don’t understand this, buy yourself a microwave dinner and stay away from other people during Christmas, that way you avoid hurting peoples feelings. Shame on everyone involved in this travesty! One extra point to the youngest daughter who is a delight.
10 Wow, this was harrowing. Of course all of us will recognise elements in this film, that correspond with their own life in a lesser or larger extent. I of course feel a sting from my own situation, weight, health, lonliness, isolation and fear of death and not having spent my time as I or eceryone may have wanted. But it also hits home in that I am so fond of Brendan and know what he has gone through not only in his profession but his personal life. This is a wonderful film (the work and performances, not the subjectmatter) and I am glad I saw it, but be warned, it may leave scares, so maybe watch it during the daytime so you can go out and… not look out into the black void.
10 Australia at its best. Wonderful, ordinary bloke fights ‘the man’ when an airport expansion encrouches on the DIY house of a family and its supreme leader, the wonderfuly single minded dad!
10 Most likely the best movie of 2023. Not much competition, this is an adult movie, it’s for me, mine, it’s not kids and randos. Love the dialogue and how old memories of this master of the cinema plays with us not letting an opportunity to insert his unique style and humour innfront of us, either to enjoy or get bevildered by!
6 Well, grown ups, calm somewhat funny, bit shoddy writing but otherwise pretty nice. Could’ve done with some Bette Midler type energy.
3 A series about the last male anything on the planet turned into a current day Hollywood gender, sexual, minority agenda with most characters getting more screen time about their sexual prefferences, cultural, demographic baggage than the main character who is just unlikeable? I LOVED the comic book. This just ignored the feeling and zeitgeist of the book and made it about the 2020’s telling us all how things should be according to small minorities. No wonder it only got 1 season. And now it will be gone from Disney + and Hulu, most likely for ever. Sorry for a lot of people who no likely, despite it all, maybe deserved a season 2 to get it done properly.
8 Feels and looks like a Fletch movie. Sure, Hamm is no Chevy Chase but he makes it the role his own. Good times, good old school movie!
8 I don’t quite understand what a lot of people were so pissy about. I just know I heard so much negativity I didn’t go see it in the cinemas. But I like it. Paul is just such a lovely person he can save pretty much anything. Is the daughter an insufferable you female who suddenly can and know everything? Yes, and it is VERY irritating, but she gets going about knowing it ALL she looks at her dad, remembers what he has suffered, her own time after the blip and she bites her tongue! Unlike She-Hulk would have spouted some man hating shit and then had sex with the villain or kicked Scott in the balls, or both. No, this was much better than the latest Thor disaster and god awfull «Dr Strange» movie. I hope we get to see Scott Lang again.

8 Could have been by the numbers or decenia swapped, in stead in some beyond meta the Brady family Is moved astro turf and all right smack bang into a post grunge Los Angeles where the locals are as shocked how weird the Brady’s are as the Brady’s are entirely oblivious about it. Wonderful movie.

9 Very quirky, wonderful, odd, disturbing, shocking, meandering, semi horrific, sweet and brutal. And then there’s the performances and the scenery. It lost out to Brendan for best actor but is faaar superior to that jumpy chinese sitcom or whatever. This is entertainment for adult people, a rare treat these days. You deserve this, treat yourself!
1 Det ringeste elendige agenda drevne lort nogensinde. Har sandsyneligvis ødelagt Star Trek for alltid. Alle er røvhuller med mæninger, køns, sex, race relatered hang-up, den militære struktur i Starfleet er totalt udvisket af selværklærede besserwissere der mener deres bagage giver dem ret til at lavære at parrede ordre, Klingonerne ser ud ad helvede til, man opfinder en sort mendeske søster af Spock ingen kender fra før som er så drevet at 2020 tallets woke Hollywood agenda at man straks hader hende for grunde man næsten bliver flov ovre. Alle mænd er vatpikke, onde, udugelige om de da ikke er homosexuelle eller aliens. Skibene ligner ingenting vi holder af og Star Treks forhistorie er der ingen plads til for her skal der wokes. Serien blev endeligt taget med ud bag et skur og lukket ned i 2023, men skaden er nok ikke til at lave om på, en glimrende sæson 3 af Picard til trods.
6 Helt ok middelmådig. Jeg anede ikke hvem Black Adam er/var så jeg er ellers ligeglad.

8 Fun! Exiting! A hoot. Like the last 20 years didn’t happen.
8 What a wonderful little film. A film for grownups everywhere. A dear friend of mine recently lost her husband, then her mother, to this terrible disease and I guess that made it all hit even a bit closer to me, so yeah, grown man, tears flowing. Billy Crystal is such a treasure, and you can tell how near and dear to him this project is. I have written about movies before about how important «small» movies are. People talking, conversations and interactions woven on top of a well written story. Nothing forced or crowbarred into the story to foster an agenda you may or may not share with your viewers. No shouting, cursing, ill fitting music or explotions. Just wonderful people. A couple of the peripheral actors are a bit wooden and that’s the only negative I can come up with, I don’t want to make up any ‘tsuris’ where there are none! And thank the actual for Billy Crystal!
2 So… someone somewhere at some stage must have said «Yeah, this might as well happen…» Trust me, it didn’t. Nothing and no one in this movie make me invested in them. I don’t give a shit about any of these cardboard cut-outs and by the end of this I’m just confused as to why any of this was allowed to be filmed in the first place.
2 Garbage. Written by commitee, following agendas, following formulas where women are perfect, specially those of culture and white men are evil and white people in general are cannon fodder. From the crew on the ship (white men with guns? Slaughter them) to the city police (White policemen and women doing their job? Just murder them, no problem). But when the movie entirely ignores PHYSICS I’m done. I know I’m not supposed to watch this, it isn’t for men like me, but hey… Black Panther suit and super plants not withstanding, she is a 40 kg woman!!! I don’t care how many pushups you do, if you throw a housecat into the ring with a male lion, it is screwed! And don’t get me started with the underwater murderers neither. RIP Chadwick, I wish they could have honored you by cancelling this terrible movie, you don’t deserve this being made with your name attatched to it.
3 Give it a rest will you? Stephen Fry’s dino docu on channel 5 has dino animation about as good as Playstation 2 era, think early Tomb Raider. Yet it is far better than this because it is made by people who care! That bus left this franchise a long time ago.
8 Very well ballanced cast, great dialoge, adult conversations,adult humour, adult feelings. That is so rare these days. Thank you writers, actors and producers!
8 What can I say? I love the period, I love Brendan and the music. Do I think it would have made a bigger impact in say 1989? Yeah, the whole hairmetal scene they reference was mostly dead in 1994, but aside from that, I just love the actors and the whole vibe. I own this movie on Laserdisc, that’s how old I am now…
