Thirteen Lives

Thirteen Lives is a drama/biography/thriller movie that tells the story of a rescue mission in Thailand where a group of young boys and their soccer coach were trapped in a system of underground caves that were flooding. The movie is based on the true story of the 2018 Tham Luang cave rescue, and features an ensemble cast, including Viggo Mortensen, Colin Farrell, Joel Edgerton, Tom Bateman, Pattarakorn Tangsupakul, Sukollawat Kanarot, Teerapat Sajakul, Sahajak Boonthanakit, Vithaya Pansringarm, Teeradon Supapunpinyo, Nophand Boonyai, Paul Gleeson Lewis Fitz-Gerald Peter Knight U Gambira and Josh Helman. The plot follows the story of twelve boys from the junior football team "Wild Boars" and their assistant coach Ekkaphon Chanthawong who explore the Tham Luang cave on June 23rd 2018 but fail to arrive at a birthday party organized by their parents. Their families alert emergency services when they find the cave flooded with water and no sign or trace of them left behind other than their bikes at the cavern's entrance. The Royal Navy SEALs led by Captain Arnont conduct an initial search for them but soon realize that they need professional assistance to locate them due to how complex it is to dive through this kind of path inside the mountain so Vern Unsworth shares his knowledge about this type of geography as he has been exploring these typesa caves for years.
