In the bustling streets of Tokyo, a group of high school students must navigate the ups and downs of love, friendship, and extraterrestrial invasions. Ataru Moroboshi, a charming but unlucky womanizer, finds himself at the center of it all when he's chosen to represent humanity in a game against the Oni, a race of alien invaders.
