In this poignant animated series, two high school students, Mugi and Hanabi, appear to be the perfect couple. However, their relationship is not as it seems. They both have unrequited love for someone else and are using each other as a substitute to cope with their loneliness. As they spend more time together, they begin to develop feelings for each other, but their relationship remains complicated by their shared secret.
