In the late 1980s, a string of brutal sexual assaults takes place along the Samber river in Northern France. The attacks are eerily similar, happening early in the morning and following a distinct pattern. Despite the mounting cases, the police struggle to make progress and connect the dots. As the justice system becomes overwhelmed, it takes three decades for a suspect to be brought to justice, who is responsible for at least 54 harrowing crimes against women.
