In feudal Japan, a mysterious medicine seller roams the land, seeking to exorcise evil spirits called mononoke. He must first understand their Form, Truth, and Reason, and then use his vast knowledge of the supernatural and his arsenal of secret weapons to defeat them. But the battle against these malevolent entities is dangerous, and the medicine seller must confront his own demons in order to emerge victorious.
