Two childhood friends, Georgia and Holly, begin their freshman year at university in Edinburgh. Georgia gets drawn into an elite clique led by a charismatic lecturer, Jude McDermid. Holly becomes increasingly concerned as Georgia starts acting strangely. She discovers a world of lavish parties and high-powered businessmen but realizes it's built on shady compromises. As she exposes its dark core, danger lurks for both her and Georgia.
