Archie

Archie is a four-part drama series that tells the story of Cary Grant's life, from his childhood in Bristol, England to his rise as one of Hollywood's most iconic leading men. With a troubled home life, including a father who was abusive and a mother who was institutionalized, Archie Leach (played by Jason Isaacs) had to overcome numerous challenges to become the charming, witty, and sophisticated Cary Grant that the world came to know and love. With a script by BAFTA-winning writer Jeff Pope, this series offers a unique glimpse into Grant's life before he became a star, and how those experiences shaped him into the man he would become.
