Both emerged from different sides of Youngstown, Ohio, and went on to have successful careers at Ohio State University in 2002, leading the school to its first national football championship in over 30 years. However, their lives took different turns, with Clarett being suspended from college football and eventually serving a prison sentence, while Tressel continued coaching for another eight years before his career also ended in scandal.
